Hogan Thompson Wins Major Summary Judgment for Marathon

Hogan Thompson recently won a summary judgment on behalf of client Marathon Oil Permian LLC related to the ownership of valuable working interest rights in the Delaware Basin in New Mexico.

Marathon filed suit against Chisholm Energy and other parties to confirm ownership of these oil and gas interests. Following limited discovery and extensive briefing, the Court awarded Marathon ownership of the interests at issue, which were worth millions of dollars.
