Hogan Thompson Schuelke Secures Total Win for Callon Petroleum in El Paso Court of Appeals

Hogan Thompson Schuelke recently secured a total win for Callon Petroleum, now a subsidiary of Apache, in the El Paso Court of Appeals in Callon Petroleum v. KWF Enterprises. Callon has an ownership interest in valuable oil and gas leases in the Delaware Basin and was subject to overriding royalty interests (ORRI). The Court reversed the trial court’s judgement in favor of KWF and gave the firm a total win on Callon’s ownership claims.
