Biography
James represents businesses in complex litigation and arbitration matters. He is known to his clients for his ability to handle every aspect of a case. Both as lead counsel and in key roles on multi-member trial teams, James has successfully represented clients through every stage of litigation, from pre-suit negotiations through jury verdicts and final appeals. James has represented clients across a broad range of industries and has extensive experience in construction, midstream, and petrochemical disputes. James's combination of courtroom skill and the ability to master the facts of a complex case has allowed him to consistently achieve great results for his clients.
An honors graduate of Harvard Law School and The University of Texas at Austin, James served as a law clerk to the Honorable Edith Brown Clement of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit before beginning his career as a trial lawyer.
Prior to joining Hogan Thompson Schuelke, James was a partner at Reynolds Frizzell LLP.
