Samantha Thompson Appointed to IEL's Young Energy Professionals Council

Hogan Thompson founding partner Samantha Thompson was recently appointed to the The Institute for Energy Law (IEL)’s Young Energy Professionals (YEP) Council, with a two-year term through 2024. The YEP’s mission is to offer younger IEL members a forum for discussion of contemporary issues, information for career development, and an opportunity to network with each other and with energy industry leaders.

The IEL was founded in Dallas in 1959 as a division of The Center for American and International Law, an international nonprofit educational institution for lawyers, judges, and law enforcement professionals. IEL provides lawyers and other professionals in the energy industry exceptional academic and professional opportunities, including annual conferences, courses, seminars, scholarly publications, and membership activities.
